The Bebbinar

Last week, I attended an awesome workshop called the Bebbinar by the fabulous Steve and Jen Bebb from Bebb Studio. It's life changing and I was blown away starting the first day. Its no wonder why they are one of the top wedding photographers. I leave the workshop extremely inspired and focused.

We did a quick 1hr photoshoot with a model and it was a refreshing experience to work along side other photographers. Here are some of my takes:

It rained that day so I couldnt really take alot more photos outdoor then I would have liked but it turned out really great though. I love the colors and how Tracy used cranberries throughout the reception (see the ring shot). What a cool idea and what a stunning couple.

Maria & Carlos E-shoot

It has been a few weeks since my last photoshoot and I couldnt wait until the next time I took out my camera gear. Although, I still have 2 more weddings this year which I cant wait to do, I was excited to do Maria & Carlos engagement photoshoot.

After spending some time at the Urban Wedding gala in Yaletown, I headed to false creek where I met up with Maria & Carlos.

Let me just say that Maria & Carlos are such an adorable couple. All my shots came out so natural. Here are some of my shots:

I like this little pathway close to where the couple lives. I dont think Maria & Carlos was expecting us to take shots that close to where they live.

I like this shot. It overlooks Yaletown.

Something about bridges. Didnt I say they look so natural.

Its amazing what type of shots you can take from walking 10 mins.

Aren't these big blocks awesome? I actually havent been here before and was pretty amazed at all the different places that I could use as my backdrops.

Alittle different perspective below.

At this point, I was in a mission to find some more colour to my photos. I really wanted the red colorful trees but couldnt find any until we were going to call it a day. See my last shot.

Sarah & Robert's Wedding

I love outdoor weddings and Im glad I was able to capture Sarah & Robert's special day on Sept 6. We went to 2 parks (Rocky Point Park and Minnekhada Park) to do some photos and then headed to a hall in Maple Ridge for the ceremony and reception. It was a ton of fun. Also, I experienced something that I've actually never experienced before capturing weddings. I'll show you what I mean.

This is how Sarah & Robert's day unfolded:

Ok, I mentioned that I had experienced something that I had never experience before. Well, there was an incident with the wedding ring! The ring was dropped between the spaces on wooden floor boards. Everything worked out great though but the intensity of the moment had to be captured.

Up above is the best man's shoes while he lay down to see if he could reach the ring beneath the floors. Unfortunately, it didnt work.

Photobucket
Sorry Julio...I had to post this photo of you. Julio had this situation under control though.

Photobucket
If all things fail, open up the floors to grab the ring which is what ended up happening. It didnt take long to get the ring. Yay!

Another photo op of the beautiful bride.

Probably the cutest guest I saw at their wedding.

Photobucket
I love the cabin and trees at the reception. I had to make good use out of them.
