Jami Photography is now Jade Studios.

Why have I changed the name you ask?

1) It reflects the next level of how I want to brand my business

2) I love the name, Jade Studios.

3) More importantly, it reflects my name. Jade is my first name and when clients call into my office, they no longer need to ask for someone named Jami =)

New Joy

Its been awhile since I last blogged as I've been pretty occupied with my first new born, Karsen James. He is my joy and is my priority. Im so blessed.

Im also been working on revamping my business and have exciting news to announce. Stay tuned!

Karsen James - Our Baby Boy!

On Dec 2nd, our baby boy Karsen James was born at 8:39am weighing at 6 pounds 10 ounces. We are so excited with our new blessing and enjoying every minute of being a parent including sleepless nights =) as we know it will be worth it.

The Bebbinar

Last week, I attended an awesome workshop called the Bebbinar by the fabulous Steve and Jen Bebb from Bebb Studio. It's life changing and I was blown away starting the first day. Its no wonder why they are one of the top wedding photographers. I leave the workshop extremely inspired and focused.

We did a quick 1hr photoshoot with a model and it was a refreshing experience to work along side other photographers. Here are some of my takes:

I got an email today from one of my past clients who mentioned that some of my wedding photos that I captured from their day is featured in her story on the Vancouver Sun newspaper. Im so excited since I dont usually get to see my photos posted on the newspaper.
